Electrical installation works, testing, project management and consulting.
The main focus of our company is on electrical installation work at substations and hydroelectric power plants and supervision of electromechanical and construction works. In addition, we also provide electrical system testing and commissioning, project management and consulting services.
Electromechanical installation work on substations and hydro power plants
- Instalation of Air insulated switch gears which consist of steel structure installation, equipment installation (circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers) including primary connection between the equipment.
- Installation of power transformers including oil treatment. We have our own equipment necessary for installation (dry air generator unit, vacum pumps, oil treatment plant, oil insulation tester).
- Installation of the SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgears.
- Installation and rehabilitation of the turbines and generators including on site fabrication of the stator core and generator winding installation.
Supevision on electrical and civil work
During the construction work on substations and hydropower plants, where we are not engaged as an installation company, our experts are involved as supervisors and foremen where they follow performance of the manpower which is provided by the client. Depending on the project, our people can be involved as senior supervisors (taking care about several systems during installation), supervisors for one single system or foremen and team leaders where they are controling small group of the workers during installation of the single system.
Commissioning and putting electrical systems into the operation
Our engineers are involved in the final commissioning and functionality check after the installation phase. This commissioning consists of primary tests (functionality check of equipment) and secondary commissioning (wiring check, functionality check and testing of control and protection system). We have our own testing equipment for primary tests of the equipment and HV tests for different voltage
levels. Our engineers can be involved as commissioning coordinators as well and they are leading the commissioning process and coordinating different commissioning teams with client requirements.

Otraks doo is a private company founded in 1989 as a tourist agency. Since 2008, activities of the company have been expanded to consulting services in the field of electrical installations. Since 2011, first as part of the company MINS Elektro from Belgrade, and then with the establishment of the sister company Otraks sistem in Serbia in 2017, a period of intense activities in the field of electrical assembly began, with a focus on the foreign market.
